Final Warning from Biafra: Don’t toy with Nnamdi Kanu’s life – MASSOB warns Buhari

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has warned the federal government not to toy with the lives of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu and others standing trial.

Kanu alongside Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, are currenting facing trial before the Justice Binta Nyako – led Federal High Court sitting in Abuja for charges bordering on treasonable felony.

In a statement, the National Leader of MASSOB, Comrade Uchenna Madu, said the secret trial of Kanu and others will not see the light of the day.

He stated that the group will never succumb to any form of intimidation by the Federal Government.

The secessionist group maintained that it will continue to support and show solidarity to Kanu and other pro-Biafra agitators incarcerated.

“Justice Binta Nyako is directly playing the tune of his Fulani Islamic brother for the interest of Sokoto caliphate.

“The people of Biafra shall never succumb to this intimidation. The so-called secret trials will never see the light of the day because my brothers, Nnamdi Kanu and others, did not commit any crime,” Madu said.

This is coming at a time when the founder of MASSOB, Raph Uwazruike described Kanu as a fraudster who has no genuine interest for Biafra, stressing that he was willing to testify against him openly.

– The 21 recently released Chibok girls have narrated their ordeal in the captivity of their Boko Haram abductors to a clergy, Pastor Bulus

– They told Bulus they were not immediately taken into the forest after capture but to a house in Borno Government Residential Area (GRA) in Maiduguri where they stayed for two months

– From the GRA, the girls said they were taken to Gwoza where they claimed that a top politician allegedly housed them in one of his residences for about 8 months

– The girls also reportedly said that some of the Chibok girls never made it to Sambisa forest as they were killed in Gwoza by a bomb allegedly dropped on the house they were staying by a Nigerian Airforce fighter jet.

The recently released Chibok girls have revealed details of how some politicians allegedly sponsored the activities of the Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast for their personal gains.

According to a Chibok clergy called Pastor Bulus Baba from Kaya community in Chibok local government area of Borno state, his discussions with some of the girls revealed that some politicians reportedly played an active part in their abduction.

In an interview with Daily Post in Maiduguri, Pastor Bulus said the politicians reportedly did this in order to frustrate the administration of past president Goodluck Jonathan.

First, he said, the girls claimed they were not immediately driven into the forest as widely believed, but were first taken to a house in Borno Government Residential Area in Maiduguri where they stayed for two months before they were taken to Gwoza where they claimed that a top politician allegedly housed them in one of his residences for about 8 months.

They were however forced to head into Sambisa forest after a bomb was dropped on the compound by a Nigerian Airforce fighter jet. Some of the Chibok girls and other women abducted along with them were allegedly killed in the attack.

Bulus said: ”The girls said, they spent over 8 months in Gwoza local government area along with other abducted women. They said they were kept at a resident of one of the top politicians in that local government area until at a point when a fighter jet dropped bomb that touch part of the house killing some of the girls.”

The Boko Haram had released a video some time ago and claimed that the Nigerian Armed Forces mistakenly killed some civilians while dropping bombs. But the Nigerian Airforce denied killing civilians in its attack.

The girls said that after leaving Gwoza, they were divided into groups and while some severely sexually abused and others were forced to marry the militants.

The federal government however declared (upon release of 21 girls) that none of them had been abused.

Pastor Bulus said: “It was a sad story, we believe that those behind this evil will never go unpunished. For us in Chibok, we will keep praying that, those of them who are still being held by their captors shall gain freedom and be reunited with their families like these ones that came home.”

Meanwhile, in its determined counter-terrorism efforts, the Department of State Services says it has recorded major successes against criminal gangs, kidnap syndicates and Boko Haram terrorists across the country.

The agency says the successes have further degraded the capability of these elements to operate in the county.

US Group Confirms Buhari’s Donation Of $500m To Clinton Campaign, Trump Gets Ready To Strike

A US non governmental group, the American Black Group for Democracy has confirmed the report that the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari’s government plunged $500 Million (About N150 Billion) into the failed Hillary Clinton electioneering campaign fund.

They reevealed that the donation may create a huge misunderstanding between Nigeria and the incoming Trump’s US government.

The Nigeria integrity challenged President, wasted no time in releasing the funds he reportedly pledged to the US secretary of states, Sen. John Kerry and US Ambassador in Abuja in support of Mrs Clinton election.

President Buhari an Islamist fundamentalist,has a visible hatred for Mr Donald Trump, especially when the US President-electallegedly made some statement which the Nigerian president sources claimed is demeaning and a threat to the Islamic faith.

The Obama government, which Hillary Clinton served as Secretary of States frustrated the Nigerian former government’s war against the Islamist terror group, Boko Haram and blocked every means of sourcing arms against the terrorists.

The US group saw Buhari’s donation as an appreciation or a pay back to the Obama’s government that frustrated Nigerian government under Goodluck Jonathan in all front and used threats and intimidation to kick Jonathan out of office.

They added that Mr Kerry’s frequent visit to Northern Nigeria may not be unconnected to the process of releasing the funds, as Buhari later quickly mobilized some Northern elders and his party governors of Northern inner circle who helped to facilitate a quick and secret ferrying of the money with secured presidential fiat.

The defeat of Hillary Clinton was received as a great shock by the Nigerian government that was helped to power by the policies of Mrs Clinton as secretary of state and the donation is now a failed project that may be investigated by the Trump government.

Left alone, President Buhari would not have congratulated Donald Trump because of the animosity he bears for the American. It took the intervention and criticism of Nigerians to force President Buhari to congratulate the US President-elect, Donald Trump, as the Nigerian seat of power was thrown into turmoil when it became certain that Trump has defeated Buhari’s favoured candidate, Hillary Clinton.

All the world leaders including those from Africa made a straight phone call to felicitate Trump, but Buhari battling the fact that the incoming US government is aware of his hefty financial support to their opponent (Mrs Clinton) developed cold feet and chose to congratulate Trump through a twitter post.

Nigerians were shocked about this revelation that Buhari was busy funding a US presidential candidate, while millions of Nigerians were starving to death as a result of the recession caused by his archaic economic policies.

Tears as Obama delivers farewell speech

President Barack Obama wiped away tears as he paid tribute to his teenage daughters and to Michelle Obama, his “best friend,” at the emotional close of a farewell address in his adoptive city of Chicago Tuesday.

“Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, girl of the south side, for the past 25 years, you have not only been my wife and mother of my children, you have been my best friend,” Obama told the first lady, seated before him dressed all in black.

“You took on a role you didn’t ask for and made it your own with grace and grit and style and good humor,” he told her, at one point pulling out a handkerchief to dab away tears — as the crowd of 18,000 cheered wildly.

“A new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. You’ve made me proud. You’ve made the country proud.”

It was in Chicago that the Obamas met, that their daughters were born, and as the president put it in a Facebook post ahead of the speech, “for Michelle and me, Chicago is where it all started.”

While 18-year-old Malia was there to hear her father’s farewell speech, her 15-year-old sister Sasha was not — the most notable of a series of public absences by the teen that prompted a flurry of good natured chatter on social media, and a hashtag #SashaObama.

A White House official said Sasha stayed back in the capital Washington to prepare for a school exam in the morning.

But Obama addressed both girls in praising the “two amazing young women” they had become, during the family’s eight years in the White House.

“Of all that I have done in my life, I am most proud to be your dad,” he said — as Malia, dressed in black-and-white, shed a few tears with her mother’s arm around her.

“You are smart, and you are beautiful, but more importantly, you are kind, and you are thoughtful, and you are full of passion,” Obama told them. “And you bore the burden of years in the spotlight so easily.”

And finally, the 55-year-old president turned to Joe Biden — who along with his wife Jill he described as a second “family,” drawing yet another standing ovation for the vice-president.

“You were the first decision I made as a nominee, and it was the best,” Obama told Biden. “Not just because you have been a great vice president, but because in the bargain, I gained a brother.”

After the president’s speech drew to a close, the Obamas and their daughter came together on stage for a warm embrace.
