Abia of our dream begins with you.

By Enyinnaya Appolos

“My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” -John F. Kennedy

Earlier today, a civil society group, Center Point Agenda, under the leadership of Mr. Uba Anyanwu; an energetic, articulate and vibrant young Abian, embarked on a self funded community service at Aba.

They cleaned some of the Aba roads constructed or rehabilitated by the current government, led by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, as a way of telling others to ask for what they can do for our state as against always asking for what the state can do for them.

The members and leaders of this group are enjoined to remain resolute in their effort at supporting our people and government. This your kind community service will surely take you to places you never envisaged because the Bible says that he that watereth shall be watered.

Even if men fail to acknowledge or reward you, God will not fail to reward you.

As far as I know, this is the first of its kind in Abia as we have not seen this before since creation in 1991. Our Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, is happy with this group and has taken note of their support. He is also looking forward to to more citizens led interventions to support the government in different areas for the good of our state.

Well done Centre Point Agenda for leading the way for others to follow.
